Hi, it's your friendly neighbourhood Lounge Knight here! It's been a while since the last blog post, so this is just a quick catch-up on what's been going on here at "Travels through gaming".
Firstly, I've just posted an article looking at the bosses in Jaleco's 1989 game, The Astyanax, which I recently played as part of the Arcade Archives label on Nintendo Switch. We'll be following up with an actual review of the game, so keep an eye out for that when it lands. The experience has inspired me to play other Arcade Archives titles, so keep an eye out for that as well.
Secondly, I also (finally) started Falcom's Ys Origin on Nintendo Switch. Loving it so far, as I did Ys Chronicles+, so expect videos and articles in the near future, once I've finished it. Looking further ahead, I am looking to play through all the games in the Ys series, and can't wait. In between, I'll try and squeeze another comparison video or article (got a few ideas about what games to examine next). That's it for now. Take care and speak soon.
